anti knock sensor August 01, 2022, 01:59:41 PM My 1986 Cougar has the 3.8L. Does the car have a anti knock sensor? I called Autozone and they said the car never had one. Is that correct? Or maybe it's called a knock detonation sensor? Can someone verify if Autozone is correct. Thanks! Quote Selected

Thanks!According to the 86 3.8 ECS booklet only a few very early mustangs/capris had them, doesnt even show the location if they did.
