I've seen them. I'd consider them if they were 17". I'll keep my Snowflakes unless they make 17" 10 holes.

The 16" TRXs are kind of tempting even though they're the wrong style for a Tbird

i already have five in the stock 15x7. these days the only way i would use them is if i were building something that i wanted to make a serious sleeper out of, like say a fairmont wagon. otherwise i will use 17" wheels to cover 13" cobra brakes.

I like the 16 inch TRXs as well.  Finding a tire I want for them; not so much.....

I would love the details on this if you would. Which 16” rim, how there mounted, machining of the TRX’s.  Have an 83 that needs this treatment.

pretty simple.
I  had a machine shop turn the TRX centers down to barely fit into Center Line billet wheels. 16 x 8 fronts and 17 x 8 rears.
I installed long wheel studs.
The C/L wheels mount as normal with 4 lug nuts.
Then the TRX centers mount with another 4 lug nuts
I used some disc brake dust shields behind the TRX centers
