1984 Cougar with a 5.0L upgraded to HO Cam and E7 Heads computer question.

I'm having a new long block put into my 1984 Cougar.  I had the reman company put in an HO CAM and E7 heads to give it more power.  My question is: can I use my old computer because now I have to change the firing order for a 351W.  thank you for any assistance.

Is the car still CFI?

Your car came with a CFI (Central Fuel Injection). It sits on top of the intake manifold like a carburetor.
With this set-up, changing the firing order does not require an EEC IV (computer) change.

I don't know if CFI was ever used on the 351W.
