3.8l TBIRDstuck intake...can't pry off....HELP

87 TBIRD, 3.8L.
Have a blown head gasket (please don't ask me why I think it's blown, this baby's BLOWN).
trying to remove the intake manifold.  got all bolts and lines off and can't get it to budge when trying to pry from the front like the manual says.
Me and a buddy of mine both tried at the same time and it doesn't give AT ALL!!!

Any brilliant ideas or tips?

You could try taking a good heavy flat headed screwdriver, place it at the manifold's meeting point to the heads and hit the screwdriver with a hammer or rubber mallet. If it works correctly the screwdriver should act as a wedge and separate the manifold.

May be able to use a chisel if you have one with a flat enough tip.

stick of dynamite, no juss playing,

What i would do is get some kind of gasket remover spray or wd-40 or mopar penetrating lube ( i really do mean the mopar kind, but it at jeep, or mopar dealership)

And coat the rim of the intake, and let it sit over night, then try to pry it off,

Be careful not to break the intake.....

use the nail-remover end of a hammer, or a crowbar.

try from multiple sides, worse comes to worse. take a 2x4 and hold it against the intake and hit it with a hammer ( the other end of the 2x4, not the intake )

Let us know !!!

Dumb question, but are you sure you got all of the bolts?
Do not pry between the gasket surfaces.

Ditto......

Also I havn't looked at mine but would the valve covers hold the intake on.  I know on the old 350's I've played with the valve covers would hold down the intake, just barely.

Same with the old 318 dodge's, you'd bend the valve cover if you didn't take them off,

Now, you can't move it at all? or it moves a hair ?!
