1987 Mercury Cougar 20th Anniversary June 18, 2018, 11:48:34 PM More photos in the craigslist ad.I've decided to let go of my Cougar. It's a pretty clean little car, about 101k miles. The 20th anniversary edition has a lot of gee whiz gizmos in the interior and by and large most of them still work. The coolcats website has a pretty good writeup on this model.Recent work includes:- New brakes front and back- Recent alignment- Cooper tires with only a few thousand miles on them.- Moonroof seal was replaced- Coolant flushed- New struts and strut mounts- Dual exhaust with H pipe sounds very nice.Anniversary floor mats and a car cover are included.We slid into a ditch earlier in the year and I busted the rear axle and a rim. Fortunately that was all that got damaged. The forum member 87ThunderbirdBlackJack sold me the 8.8" 3.55 posi rear end that's now in the back of the car and I found a replacement turbine rim from a Mustang. The only thing downside is a couple of the center caps are damaged.Here's the ad.
