Odd Cougar

Recently remembered an odd Cougar I saw on eBay a few years ago. It was an 84-86 XR7, and I think it had come with a 5sp. I know this was never available in that car, but somebody had swapped in a 200 I6 and auto, I'm guessing out of an early Fox Mustang. They probably put the 2.3T/5sp in the Mustang. They said this Cougar was a running car, and it was on auction for a long time, I remember. Would have been a conversation-starter.

Hey, several years ago, wasn't ChuckW building a turbo 200 I6? That's about the time I stopped viewing the page for a while. Just wondered what came of that? Thanks.
