So there are a few of us on here with 351W in our cars.  The 95 van motor is a roller motor and is a great start.

One of the guys on here "thewestie" has had a 351W carbed motor in his car for a long time but I believe it is in a 87TC but about the only thing different between the 83-85 and 86-87 cars is the motor mounts.  Every other aspect of the swap should be the same.

would the aod trans hold up behind the 351 im not sure what tranny is in the van i belive its a c6 if i use that trans what drive shaft would work on a bird or will i need a custom shaft

It might survive a day or two years. Depends on how much abuse it has had and will get. C6 is really big and I have zero experience with one in a Fox body but I do know a C4 fits like a champ.

ok so i have thrown the 351 option out the window im looking at this combo my stock e5 heads or e7s depending on if i find a set a edlebrock performer rpm intake with 650 carb and COMP Cams Camshaft and Lifters Set High Energy 268H Hydraulic Flat Tappet 1500-5500 RPM 289/302 but on this camshaft i dont see anything needing a stall or diff springs ect. can anyone confirm,deny,make accusations also does that set up sound like it wouls throw me into the 200 225 range with shorty headers and exhaust also on the cam would it be possible to throw that cam in with the cfi while im waiting on all my parts to come in i know the computers like to go crazy
