Low oil pressure warning buzzer on

I have the full digital dash in my bird and had a set of buttstuffog gauges installed. Now my oil pressure in dash reads LOW & the warning chime is on. I supplied a T- fitting for oil sender and notice it was not used? Seems I read the factory sender could be grounded to turn of the warning chime? Any thoughts on what I need to look for?
