At first its our car so as you want but if it was me and I had 4 TC's  I would build one as a bone stock restoration. But that is me I myself would stick with some sort of Ford V8 If I just had to have power. But then Am I gonna build a car for my buddy to race me in hell no. I'd already have a V8 bird so why build another. Besides with gas prices who can afford to  buy gas for a V8. I love the mileage of my 2.3t is 28 MPG and I'm not to nice to it.

Um, I have a stock TC that gets up to 27mpg and is factory-correct (except the ss duals and a gillis). I also have a SC50-turboed monstrotity that always has some sort of snafu (usually electoricol). I have a spare TC with no spare TC motors and a ton of AMC motors, so why not?

I'd love to put an LS1 in there. Problem is, everybody wants a mint for one. I alread HAVE a 360. And the aftermarket for AMC's is 100 times better then 2.3T's. In fact, BBC's, SBC's, SBF's, and 429/460 BBF's are the ONLY more popular markets right now.

Yeah, I assumed that with your connections to the AMC aftermarket that this would be a real affordable swap for you.  Which is always cool.  :)

Growing up in the 1980s in the burbs, I knew nobody with hot-rod AMC connections, much less someone with a Concorde. :giggle: ;)

AMC 360 in a TC? Well that's something unique. Most people won't know what it is when you pop the hood. You can do what ever you want with your car after all it's your car. Now if you could find an early 60's Rambler to put that 360 in that would be cool too........:D

I used to have a 62 Rambler with the 327 and push-button auto trans. That car was cool.

I swear I'm not going to do anything that can't be undone. OK, well the SFC's and torque-box upgrades won't be, but those help the car even in 2.3 stage. I'm keeping all the stuff on this car I take off, in case I ever want to put it back. I still have 2 other running TC's so I'm not ALL bad :D:D:D

I just gotta quick question..since you're puttin in a 360, why not just do the little bit of work, make it a 401, or do ya just not wanna mess with it, or already have a complete running 360 on hand?
More power oh oh oh, lol :D

You can't "make" a 360 a 401. AMC basically used 3 different bores and 2 cranks (290/304, 343/360, and 390/401 is the 6 combos). I have a 360 (and a 401) but I want to save the 401 for my AMX project, and 360's make GREAT power (they are the "squarest" of the bore/stroke combos). Besides, if I like enough with the 360, I can always pull it out and stab in the 401. :D

That'll be cool.  You'll definitely have to put up a ton of pictures.  I don't know too much about AMC's other than the I6 block they made for Jeeps is a beast.

My grandpa still has it down in Florida. He added some Cragar's to it and drives it around to shows. He has it for sale now, along with his 56 Hudson Hornet. He keeps saying something about a Viper.
