Adjusting Door Contact with Jam

My 84 Tbird passenger every so slightly contacts the corner of the roof when being closed.  How do I adjust the door so it stops slightly less deep?

Thanks.

Are your pins and bushings in good shape. When the door is open can you move the door up and down at all?

How does the door fit to the fender and quarter panel? Is it flush to both, in or out and the top or bottom?

The door is well aligned otherwise.  The car is pretty low mileage and hinges have no slop in them.

The door striker is adjustable, will move in, out, up, down when loosened. The problem with moving it out a little if the door is aligned well with the quarter panel is that will change also. The way the  door seals may also be effected.
If you want to try to move the striker out, mark the top, bottom, and back with tape for a guide.

It is possible a nice new firm door weather strip would keep the door from contacting the roof.

Any adjustments at the door hinges will change alignment with fender and quarter both, but a little movement inward at the lower hinge will move the top corner quite a bit.

Tweaking the top of the door out is also an option, but should be done with caution as damage is possible.
