Weighed my bird

Random thread!  Last night my four year old son and I took my bird for a drive.  We ended up driving to my brothers work which is a large Pioneer seed corn plant.  I weighed my car on the semi truck scales there and with me (210 lbs), my son (40 lbs?), and 1/2 tank of gas we scaled in at 3640 lbs.  I always knew the car was fairly light but am glad to know its actual weight.

Anyone else weighed theirs?  I'd be curious to see what a Mark or a loaded out 5.0 bird or Cougar would weigh in comparison.

With me(200), approx 2/3 tank gas and a small 40-ish Lb tool bag mine weighed 3760... That's with alu heads, AOD, dual power seats... The A/C wasn't fully installed but other than hoses was in place...

Driver power seat only here.  This suckers must be pretty heavy.  I've never weighed one, but I have had my seats out several times for various reasons and do remember them having some "heft" to them.

Aluminum headed 5.0, headers, AOD, and every option but a sunroof. My Thunderbird tips the scale with a full tank at 3556lbs. With me (~155) it's about 3710lbs or so.

It took some digging but found my slips from 20 some years ago when my friend and I weighed our cars at the local co-op, my friends mother worked the scale there. I have no idea if we were in the cars or not, from the weights I think not, and how much fuel was in the tanks. Both cars were carb, cast heads, headers, with no a/c or emissions.

I'd like to weigh mine once I swap to the t-5. It should be fairly light with manual everything and being a earlier car. I'll bet there is a 100lb difference at least from auto to stick shift.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
