Rear 5 lug disc?

Hey all, I just bout a 88 Notch and it came with the SSBC A112-1 rear disc conversion on it (10" rotors from the Turbo coupe). I want to convert this to a 5 lug pattern but not 100% sure how to complete this. I have heard that 1991-92 the Mark VII rear rotors are the same but 5 lug. Anyone know if this is true?  Per this link, it says Ranger axles and the Lincoln rotors are a direct fit to convert.

You'll need two rangers axles, both from the driver's side, or else you can use two passenger side aerostar axles.

In my notch, I've got 5 lug stuff, but I kept mine drums out back, for the specifics on disc brake 5 lug, send a PM to Aerocoupe (Darren), he's the man to talk to to about it :)

Talked to the OP a couple of times and through all of our conversations and PM's he is going to source some SN95 V6 axles and rear brakes to make the conversion.  The 94-98 GT and V6 cars utilize the same axles and brakes but the housing and third member are different.  This is about the most cost effective way to do the conversion and have access to parts across the country at parts stores.

tms217,

Can you share what your experience was with getting the correct axles for the SN95 swap?  May help other folks going down that road when sourcing parts from an auto recycler / salvage yard.

Would love to!

So after a ton of talking and research, as long as you buy a 1994-1998 rear axle, everything will swap directly into a Fox axle and be able to use the rear disc brakes.  Anything newer and your axles will be .75in too long on each side.  All of the bracket hardware, calipers and fittings are the same between 94 to 04 from what I have been able to find.  I bought a new caliper for a 94 and compared it to the 99 version and they were identical.  Also, the rear Cobra caliper are the same as well.  Note that you will also need the brake hoses and possibly lines to properly route over the axle.  My kit already had this done so I did not have to worry about this.  The E-Brake cables will be needed as well to convert from the drum to the disc setup.
