Shifter boot April 12, 2016, 10:02:49 PM I was wondering if a Mustang T5 shifter boot is the same or can be made to work as a replacement for my 83 TC Quote Selected
Shifter boot Reply #1 – April 13, 2016, 05:38:49 AM Not sure if its the "same" but I think they can be made to fit. You will find many parts for these cars are no longer available, but a lot of parts from fox body Mustangs will work . Quote Selected

Shifter boot Reply #3 – April 20, 2016, 07:08:40 PM I've got a mustang one, it is bigger. I've also got a custom one for the bird from England. I'm pretty sure Vinnie turned me on to the guy Quote Selected
Shifter boot Reply #4 – April 21, 2016, 07:30:23 AM Get the one from the guy in England. It's made for our cars, holes are punched in the leather for the retaining ring. Mine is still in great shape after 5 years. Quote Selected

Shifter boot Reply #7 – April 22, 2016, 07:34:32 AM Let the bone tossing begin. LOL.........http://www.ebay.com/itm/231158096177?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITI did have to install the little disc thing that goes at the top of the boot which fits around the shifter. Instructions tell you how. Took about two minutes. Mine is very nice and soft leather, but durable. As I said, I've had mine for years. may order a new on to have as back up. Quote Selected
