Fox Mustang 8.8

Due to all cougar 8.8s being over 300 miles away and me having to ask someone to haul it for me its sadly out of the question so what all is needed to swap in a mustang 8.8?

In my 84 Cougar, all I did was bolt in the 8.8 from my 88 LX Stang donor car  and reuse the axles, brakes and drums from the 7.5.

Yup.

There's a different answer to your question depending on whether you have an 83-85.5 car or an 85.5-88 car.

In that case, no, you cannot just swap axles/brakes from your 88 7.5 into the Mustang 8.8.
