technology and me

as of the past couple years tech has really became a way of life , and nothing seems too much impossible anymore.
I see people at work spending so much time worried about their gadgets yet they cant execute their primary jobs very well at all., the math and science of it all is so mystical and the people who did pay attention to the teacher end up carrying the "doer" weight.  Those who don't know also expect not only for you to explain how to do things, they also want you to send them an email with everything you said.    I of course respond typically by saying,, "so you not only want the answers to the test , you also want me to take your notes as well?", "did you tell your teachers in school to give you the answers and take your notes for you"?

having said that... long ago when computers were not in but maybe 10% of homes, I wondered how long will I have to wait for the following to happen, and yesterday it happened to the wife.

she gets an email from someone,,, and their request was.............and I quote..............

"Can I get our email address?"

astonishingly funny and yes,, the sender was blond :)

To me, my email addresses are like cell phone and social security numbers..something to be memorized.

In fact, I can remember the email addies to nearly all of my basic mail accounts..some I haven't logged into in over 10 years.

How can one NOT know their own by god email address!?? It's like wiping your arse after a bathroom bombing run. You do it every day, you never lose the skill... LOL

Given the political landscape, I'd surmise a number of those types vote. Not only do they want you to take their notes and test for them, they'll demand you earn their living. Hell, they'll just quit with the charade and won't bother even "working" any more but rather demanding the dwindling number of people who still do to support them.

Oh wait, that's already happening.
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"
