Once again we have a dispute. I urge for all members to fully read what the previous member had said. Keep in mind that we are all from different parts of the country....in some cases the world. We have all been taught differently, and have seen different things. We should embrace our differences and open our minds to something new. We all have the same common goal. We wish to keep alive and sometimes improve upon our wonderful cats and birds. I find it interesting that we do not fight about Cougar VS. T-Bird, or Aero VS. 4-eye. In that respect, we must find a way to understand the other person's point of view, and sometimes restrain ourselves from posting something that may not be liked to well by other members. I myself have earned a degree in automotive technology. Unfortunately, my training was more GM based. It's just where I live. After that I started to work for Chrysler dealerships. All of this is far from the Ford/Merc cars that I love so well. It causes a different standpoint for me. It also causes a bit of a hinderance. I do not know the cars I care about as much as I would like. This forum has been and is still helping me to get around that handicap. We all come from different backgrounds. Sometimes it is location, sometimes it is financial, sometimes it is by occupation. Let's try to get along with one another and understand one another. This is a family forum, not a place for a blood-battle over something stupid.

All have a Happy New Year!

Put two car guys in a room, sooner or later, they'll disagree on something or other. how it is, lol.

Tom's got a lot of good ideas, and tips, and he and I have exchanged several very civil PM's. Nothing against the guy. Without rehashing the particular thread, Haystack summed it up in last post.

Disagreements happen. I just want to keep us from spreading them all across the internet. Haven't we lost enough members?

How many of you have recently checked the union couplers on your propeller shaft?...........Differences in perspective....... To those who don't know, that would be the U-joints on your drive shaft......

Seems like I spent all summer replacing them in my driveshafts in my Mountaineer. Culprit? Hub bearings bad, caused vibrations that apparently ate the U joint and CV joint in front..not sure why the rears went bad...guy I bought it from replaced all that stuff when he got it 2 months before I bought it. Oh well, needed doing. Waiting on a bit warmer day to change the shocks/struts on wife's vehicle...was a high of 12 yesterday..nahh, not after having the flu all of the past week.

Ha! Wasn't really looking for a real answer to that.
