Hitch Question

Back when I had my 1983 cougar I put a hitch on it. I was looking, if I am going to keep this 80 tbird, I would like to put a hitch on it. Problem is, I can't find anybody that makes a hitch for it.

Does anybody know the unibody differences between the boxy-birds and aero bodies, why a hitch for an 83 would/wouldn't work on an 80?

It has been several years since I bought it, and the car is long gone now, but I think it was this one:
