Another to the collection

Found an 88 TC to add to my collection. Call it a weekness or an obsession but I love the TC's. Found it in Elkhorn NE. New paint  we wheels/tires. Looked like a good solid car. Well it is then I washed it. I figured out the paint was done shiznity or they guy didn't have the money for it to be done right cause the car is only half way painted. The AC don't work, and the windows don't roll down. It's not a bad car just needs a few pieces to finish.

I'll try and put pictures up later.

Yes, it's definitely an obsession but truthfully, he comes by it naturally.  As I tell my wife, it's a sickness that you can't get rid of.
For some reason he couldn't post pics so he sent them to me to post for him.
A quick synopsis if you will from someone who's viewing the car from the other side of the fence.
Yes, it needs a little TLC but it is a complete car that runs very well and its a 5 speed to boot so all the better.  Yes, paint could be better on it but I tried to make him understand that it is always better than the faded out clear coat peeling that is so common to these cars of that era.  No oil burn, no dents, no rust, headlights are in decent shape,  has a killer looking set of 17's sitting on it, interior, besides needing cleaned is in excellent shape with no cracks in the dash.    Need to repair a few items,  boost gauge don't work, probably vacuum line, and the fuel gauge don't work.  Need to repair both windows on it, the motors and the arms work great, but the clips that hold the windows in place are broken so the windows stay up when you try to roll them down.  Get that and the door locks changed to match the ignition and we can put the door panels back on it.  I know Vinnie has a set of locks for sale we might be looking hard at.  Don't have a trunk key but I'm sure a trip to the locksmith will solve that matter.  A/C system is complete probably needs an o ring or some other basic part to repair and restore that.  Engine is clean.  It has a cracked tail light, and the passenger door belt trim fell off of it.  Some adhesive and job complete.  Overall, I think the car is in very good condition for its age and is one of those that was taken care of for the most part.  I am very confidant that he has a good solid car to be a warm weather daily driver.  Shoot, He already has it covered up and sitting in the shed waiting till April and warm weather to come around.  So now for the pics.  These are all he sent me so don't shoot the messenger.
