86 Cougar XR7 January 28, 2015, 04:19:30 PM 63K for $2500. I have no idea what the passenger side looks like. Looks to have some rust. Possibly a good deal for someone, if the underside/frame isn't rotted away.http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/cto/4862306996.html Quote Selected
86 Cougar XR7 Reply #1 – January 28, 2015, 05:00:27 PM Thats a great deal for that car....looks very solid for a Chicago car. If that were closer i would be very tempted. I would straight trade that for my 87 72k mile XR-7 if i could. Quote Selected

86 Cougar XR7 Reply #9 – January 29, 2015, 02:22:56 PM , I'd take it, swap in a T5 and the pedals from one of the 4 banger stangs, and drive it daily. I wouldn't even 5.0 swap it... Quote Selected

86 Cougar XR7 Reply #11 – January 31, 2015, 11:30:24 PM Guys, slow down, do you really need another? :hick:I need another month before I have the money for this one. If we were a month into the future I would own it.. Quote Selected

Be careful with this seller, i spoke with him briefly and he acted like i was crazy when i mentioned the very faded interior. Just a heads up..... Quote Selected
86 Cougar XR7 Reply #13 – February 01, 2015, 01:33:13 PM Thanks for the heads up. I almost bought a black turbo-coupe from a similar seller. When I showed up and noticed the peeling repaint and the tires that had been weatherchecked, and the seat bracket that was broken.... He said I was too picky, and if I wanted a new car, I should go to a dealership. :DI don't mind paying for quality, but in this case, I expected a "flawless car" as described. There have been a number of cars that are in much worse condition than described lately. I guess thats part of the game.Geoff Quote Selected
