about this time every winter I try to post this........

made in usa (MASS)

no hydraulics
no pneumatics

just simple flywheel rack/pinion concept.

I split a lot of wood for the shop and find this splitter amazing. Would really like to try one out sometime.

That is super quick. You have to be real careful with that fast of a stroke. If your not paying 100% attention, I can see you catching your hand (or clothing) easily. I have a custom built hydraulic splitter because I burn 4 foot long logs in my LONGWOOD furnace. Really slow compared to that. That thing really cuts down on time spent on the tedious job.
