The h-pipe he has is fine. You have 4-wire oxygen sensors, too, and any Mustang or Mark VII with a 5.0 HO can donate you it's headers.  That's 87-93.  If it looks clean offer him $50 for it.  Stock headers will still fit that h-pipe, just not cast iron manifolds like you have now. I have the same h-pipe you linked to, and I had it d up to stock HO headers for a little while before I bought my BBK's.  You're worrying too much, relax.
