Guy still thinks months and months later he's gonna turn a profit! Heh.

Down to $6600. Claims "will pull the front wheels 3 inches off the ground with the tires warmed up". I called him yesterday morning, left a voicemail. Offered $5k, no call back lol.
I'd like to know how much boost it's running, details of the tranny, etc. Gotta be a built-up AOD I'd imagine.

The car appears fairly clean.  Would I pay $6,600 for it?  Not sure.
I highly doubt it'll pull the wheels with a low boost Vortech tuned via FMU with a basically stock H.O. motor.  Probably a fun car though.  The reason I say low boost is the ad states the motor is from a '93.  Hypereutectic pistons....

IDK...... Paul if he calls you back maybe bring these things up....

I've looked into those things as well. Of course plenty will shout that they witnessed Combo X make 4XX horsepower on hyper pistons. Debatable at best, forged would be safer to just not even think about it.
Vortech's site insists the FMU be used even "with ECM tuning". I found that odd, isn't this the exact point, that the fuel maps are modified for enrichment under positive pressure???
The original owner stated on here that the engine has a full GT40 setup. Not sure if they're P's or not. But agreed, I question whether or not it would even be a mote faster than my black car. On the other side of the coin, it would be a good basis to build from. Assuming of course, that everything isn't spent, I would work on setting up A2A intercooling, lose the FMU (if this is possible...I feel like it's just a half-assed solution and I just don't like how you route fuel lines all over the place as a result), bring it to Mustang Magic so the brain of the operation is made right, push the boost a little, and maybe enjoy 370-400 horsepower until I decide to rip it down and beef up the rotating assembly.

I want more speed...but at the same time, there are big issues like the block, hell the BODY flexing...my black car is a lot of fun. But I think I've gotten acclimated. Probably end up waiting until I feel like spending closer to $10k or more to make and put down 400-500 horsepower in something. Probably a Cougar. I don't know why I'd buy anything else. I don't even yearn after shagy ~1970ish musclecars. This stuff fits me perfectly.
