Need GloveBox latch for 1985 Cougar

the latch for my Glovebox is broken and i need a replacement for it, or a way to easily fix it, any ideas, takers?

Do you mean the handle on the outside that opens it, or on the inside that holds it closed?

I do have a handle mechanism in gray, though I'm not sure if I have a key for it.

Could you post a pic of what you're referring to? I might just have it, or could get one pretty easily and cheaply to send your way..
