'88 XR7 basketcase....CHEAP?

That's about s value 'round here and it allegedly wheezes to life.
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

Here you would get $350 s for the.car. if you can get a good set of rims or tires, or even headlight/tail lights or interior parts out of it, its worth it.

personally, if it were local to me, id probably pick it up, throw a sn-95 t-5 in it for a few hundred bucks and drive it till it pukes its guts out. with a t-5, ill bet that would take a few years.

I'm with Haystacker. Make it so you have to shift for yourself, and drive it till it dies.

At least it's got all the other good stuff, V8, console, wheels, and probably big drums in the back. I wish I could get it..would make ed good use of one of the sets of HO stuff I've got in my way.

You could triple your money for that price.  Part every hard to find Cougar specific out of it, pull the Turbines, and still sell for $350 s.  No Brainer......

Heck if it's not rusty underneath you could even fix it and make out like a bandit. Now if only it was closer.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
