Ed (Kafer79) What this community is all about

I wanted to take a moment and post in the more trafficked area here, even if its slightly off topic, just because i want to publicly thank someone who went above and beyond for a forum brother. Ed saw that i was looking for some specific items to make my 87 Cougar whole, and most of it is impossible to locate to put it mildly. He located a solid car nearby his location. He went to several yards, pulled everything i needed, packed, laid out the cash, shipped, and all at no profit. I gladly would have covered his hassle, time and expenses. Furthermore, knowing things are tight here, he offered to let me spread out my payment to cover his out of pocket. I was floored, and could not believe his kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity. Until this arrangement, we hardly knew one another, and i can say that this gentleman is welcome in my home anytime for dinner and drinks, and a good time in NY if he makes his way out here. Ed, I know that you did none of this for the recognition, all the more reason i needed to post this for all to see and read. This is what a community is all about. Makes me proud to be a member here.

This is always good to hear! I haven't dealt with Ed yet, but look forward to it if the opportunity presents itself.
