fuel sender wents tits up

I'm trying to find where to buy a fuel sending unit?  Any leads would be great. Or if you have a used one thats good and you want to sell it. Please let me know its getting fustrating. Please Email me at mjames11@san.rr.com  Thamk you fellow tbirder’s

You mean a tank unit??? What make and year car???? You most likely have to make one as they are obsolete on many T birds and cougars if memory serves me. I think they are 10-86 OHMS or there about.

what instrument cluster do you have,,

full buttstuffog
full digital
or digital speedometer in the middle only.

are you certain the sender is bad?

sender is on the drivers side of the gas tank.
i discovered that lossening the strap on the pass side, then taking down the strap on the driver side allows you to kinda "tilt" the tank so you can reach up and undo the connector.

once the connector is in your hands, you can simulate resistances using a variable potentiometer ,, if it fails at the connector to read a fuel reading, then the issue is not the sender.

Did anyone find a decent priced replacement sending unit?  or a universal that works?  I am getting ready to replace my tank and would like to replace the bad sending unit at the same time, but am having trouble finding anything that looks like it will work.

I tried all that. I found a used one now just need to install it. I post a web site that carries them so that's my next step.
