run codes and see what pops up.

some mass air cars will run like  with any intake leak.

run codes according to http://www.oldfuelinjection.com

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Key off, disconnect mass air, attempt restart.  Smooth restart = unmetered air (air leak between air meter and throttle body) or bad mass air meter.  Not smooth start = Run codes.

with the key forward, do you have fuel squirt out reall  good at the fuel test fitting if you poke the needle in ?

while cranking and a spark plug stuck up inside the wire that comes from the coil  , and the spark plug grounded correctly, do you have a **blue** or White spark?
