temperature adjusting cable

So, mine broke the other day, has this happened to anyone else? And where would be the best place to find one? Not sure of it's exact name, so I don't know what to look up. Luckily, it broke with it closer to warm than to cool, lol.
Current: 1986 Thunderbird, 105k 3.8/C5, 2 tone  Midnight Wine/Medium Taupe, wing windows, wire wheel covers.


Former: 1985 Cougar GS 115k Oxford White/Regatta Blue, 5.0, full console, 14" 8 hole aluminum T-Bird rims, Edelbrock valve covers.

If one from a Mustang ('89) is the same...I've got one from a 5.0 'vert I just parted out. 10 bucks to your door, and I can fire it off in the AM...
