Power Tour 2013

Just registered for HRPT 2013.  Plan to just do three days this year; Memphis, Birmingham, and Chattanooga.

Anyone else going?  I think I'm gonna roll in the 'stang this year (might do lowering springs, new shocks/struts, and wheel spacers beforehand).

Based on location relative to the route, looks like I'm out this year.

It's more of a hike for me compared to the last few years.  Heading down to Memphis is around 350-360 miles from me and coming home from Chattanooga its about 375-400 miles.  I would really like to do the last day in Charlotte, NC but that's about 600 mi from home...

Runs right by my 'hood. Too bad I'm getting murried a month beforehand!

So, what IS the Hot Rod Power Tour, besides an intimate gathering of 4,000+ vehicles travelling from site to site over 7 days. What would a typical day consist of?

Day 1 201mi 2h 49m
Day 2 136mi 2h 03m
Day 3 152mi 2h 36m
Day 4 256mi 4h 05m
Day 5 165mi 2h 32m
Day 6 363mi 5h 21m

I've always wanted to do this, but time and money don't allow me to go. Yet anyway. One of these years I hope!
