That's really a special find and I have no idea if it could really net that much. When you think about it that's like buying a new car and never driving it for 28 years while it sits in the garage then selling it for what you paid for it.

I have made an inquiry about this car because I am sort of curious about it's origin. I have a good friend who's dad, from the very first year, purchased a new Tbird and parked them in a warehouse in New Jersey. He had one of every year made. Many, he purchased, drove them straight to the warehouse and that is where they sat. A few years ago he sold the entire collection to a man in the area where I live, and from what I was told, he kept the more desirable ones and sold off the rest. The low mileage and condition makes me think this one may have been in that collection.

That is really nice. Probably overpriced, but it keeps the people who want a "beater" away.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
