Because I need another 88 Thunderbird

Yeah maybe not. It's cheap, real cheap. http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/3580566753.html

But there are some things:
Wheels are awful and would need to go.:barf:
Body kit/spoiler have to go as again awful.:barf:

After that I just slap the 8 holes I have sitting around here on and cruise. Yeah I need another car.

Nice. For everything it is, if it were local, I'd probably try to save it from other potential buyers that'd treat it like a beater.

Looks pretty good for $950.  You always NEED another Tbird.

You prob could sell the body kit for a little money back.  Dunno if they are desirable.

I could sell the body kit off of it. Not a bad idea. I don't think I could sell those awful wheels though. No one wants them.

I might call they guy to look at it. I'm running out of places to put cars though. I need more cinder blocks :mullet:.

Well after this winter the Mark VII is going to become a project, which means we'll have three "only nice weather" cars (Thunderbird, Mustang, Mark VII) so I'll end up needing another winter beater. This Thunderbird would not be a winter beater which means the count would go up to four cars, well three. The Mustang is a daily driver from April 1-November 1. I'm thinking the next car I buy should be some disposable POS for winter duty. I made the mistake of buying a car I like the in the Mark VII already.

The hillbilly part of me says screw it buy the cheap T-bird :mullet:. I've got a place to put the Mark but not another Thunderbird. I know if I look at the other Thunderbird I'm going to buy it........I have problems.

You are gonna need to get the hell out of the city ASAP and build a garage with a studio apartment up above in the sticks so you can just go hand people cash and not even think about it. Then you won't have to say to yourself "I have problems", you'll say to yourself "I HAVE CARS!!!! I HAVE ALLL OF THEM!!!!!!! HA-HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

The problem is there's this "city residency" requirement to work for the City of Chicago. Otherwise I would move out to a bigger piece of land. Problem is I like my job :hick:.

I hear ya...one of the most stupid things anyone can do is leave a good job. That would be another good solution, find a good deal on space...rent, own, whatever. I'm addicted, I can't help myself. I LOVE owning 5 vehicles. The biggest problem is every time I'm about to drop a couple grand on bodywork or something big, I find a great deal and say "Well gee, for the same money, I could have ANOTHER PERFECTLY GOOD CAR" hahaha
