Glove compartment...

:punchballs::punchballs::punchballs: Kind of wish I had paid better attention to how I tore apart my glove compartment to get to my fan. Now I can't remember how to put the  back together. Help?

There is a tab for the light And it also gets grounded on it. The plastic peace think it goes right. Ext to the glove box. Then gets. Bolted in using the same holes on the glovebox latch mechanism.

now im betting you will demand a picture, but

here are the instructions and i will keep it brief.
-ignore the black trim
-ignore the light

now................
you should have a black trim piece and bulb assembly as you have shown in your link
-press the pass seat switch to move it back all the way and get on your back under the glove box so you can see what your doing.
-place black trim along the glove box hing such that the mounting holes are parallel with the hing
-the vertical section (90deg) of the black trim will scoot way over to the hump in the middle of the car
-line up the black trim as described.
-you will then see the two screw holes or screw you either need to relocate or take out to "catch" the trim piece
-the other side of the black trim simply rests on the transmission hump.
-dont mount the light yet, grab it and place the bulb assembly inside the round cut out area and position it like follows
==with the bulb (glass) pointed down and the metal tab pointed to the passanger seat, insert the bulb assembly into the round cut out area.
==now notice the bulb mounting tab has a little ear on it.
==now look at the design of the glove box hing where you have not probably figured out it bolts to
==you will see a slight indent in the glove box hing that allows you to add a mounting screw but the "TIT" or ear on the blub metal tap will get trapped in place.
-add your hex head screw through the bulb mounting braket and screw into the glove box hinge.

when you are done, the bulb should be pointing down.
modify/bend/rotate mounting of bulb tab as required such that when its finally in place, the physical housing is not touching the plastic trim,, if you dont then its your fault when the plastic melts.

that pretty much covers it and i hope it helps, tiny pieces parts can get confussing.

for what its worth,, it is an impossible option to even think it is acceptable to tell anyone how to do something "knowing" full well that you havent dont it yourself, atleast thats how it works on my planet... but thats just me in Wv,, yeah i know it sounds backwards that someone would "want to know what they are talking about" before hand.
