TC hood question....

Ok, so I got a TC  hood on my 87 LX bird and am curious , how can I cover or ''block'' the scoop inlets so rain and debri will not cover my engine..What have you guys done?
87 Tbird LX w/Factory floor shifter:D   3G upgrade. Tinted Windows...85 Mustang GT steering wheel(non-cruise) 17'' Saleen SC style wheels,Front/Rear TC sway bars/poly bushings & Mustang GT steering rack...'05 Mustang V6 springs...93 Cobra MC & booster, MM adjustable C/C plates,  Work  In  Progress.......  ( On The Shelf---HO computer, 19lb injectors, HO cam, BBK headers, Explorer Intake, Cold Air Intake ,Phantom Gauges, Stinger stainless exhaust pipes )

Unless your car does a lot of setting that shouldn't be a problem. The scoops were designed to create a vacuum and pull air out, not force air in. That's why there is never any buildup on the intercooler of a driven TC.

Check with Vinnie, he made a set for me when I had my XR7. They kept all the leaves and other crud from getting into the engine bay

make sure you clearance the ac brackets and your motor mounts are good, so you don't break the scoop.

I fabbed block off plates for a few hoods. They work well, and are a simple bolt on. No mods other than removing the TC air duct, which, for a V-6 or V-8 car I would assume has already been done.
