WTB: Stock 2.3 Distributor

I need a good working 2.3 distributor. It needs to have a good drive gear and an unbent rotor drive shaft on it. I will replace the TFI/PIP with new MC parts, so It does not need to have a good TFI/PIP installed into it. I could get a china made re-pop one for around $50, but I want genuine Ford parts here. The n/a and Turbo distributors are the same, fyi.

This is to keep in my trunk as a backup, so when my PIP or TFI sensor goes out randomly, I can just swap in another one on the side of the road and keep on trunkin. I have a hard time finding 2.3 powered vehicles in the yards around here, so lemme know if you can help me out.  Thanks.

Well, nevermind. I lucked out and found a nice one in the junkyard today.

Scored it for only $20, and the TFI/PIP test out good as well, so I'd say it was a win.

I came upon this too late..I have a 2.3 Stang, engine is , barely runs, but the dizzy is ok. I was going to give it to you for the cost of shipping, but you've already got what ya need. ;)
Let me know if you do want it...the engine will be sped soon.

Cool, I appreciate that. For only the cost of shipping, I'll def take it anyway. 2.3 vehicles are few and far between around here anymore, and it certainly won't hurt to have a backup for my backup, lol.

I have a brand new one that I would trade for your junk one.  I have a lifetime warranty at the parts store ;)

No thanks, lol. Those aftermarket drive gears love to shatter into bits at high rpm. I'll stick with the stock Ford piece.
