ok, maf conversion question for the champs June 20, 2012, 12:43:29 PM Ok, so ive done my mass air conversion with an a9l ecm, new mass air meter for 24 lbs injectors, 24# injectors installed , adjustable fpr, gt40 intake, cold air kit, motor has 10:1 compression with a pretty monster cam, and afr aluminum heads. only problem i've run into is car runs excellent when you first start it up, a lil rich it seems, but not bad. goes into gear great with no issues: that is unitl: the car gets up to temperature it all goes to , shuts off when put into gear and has seemingly no power to move across a parking lot. any suggestions on what could cause this kind of problem. ive done this swap on many fox mustangs and never run into this. my fuel pressure stays solid so its not running out of fuel. any help is more than appreciated.
