Real ID Act of 2005 my current battle

The wife turned 40 and the to get a new drivers licence, the "laws" have changed.
This is coming to everyone soon but for my state its here.

As a result of 9/11 and followed up with the REAL ID ACT of 2005 (AKA- National ID Card), a process is being implemented in my state 12% of a centruy later, Little late to the party eh?

short and sweet, link below to wv dmv requirements
http://www.transportation.wv.gov/dmv/Drivers-Licenses/Pages/default.aspx

then...scroll all the way down click on the DOT privacy policy and you will see three of them, click on the bottom one.
or ....here is the link to the privacy policy which states further the below text...http://www.transportation.wv.gov/dmv/Documents/DMV-Privacy-Notice-2011.pdf

"We also sell personal information to companies that are legally allowed to buy it but not telemarketers"

This is just an informational only FYI to any state member out there,, I am kneck deep into this with my state on many levels id prefer not to ramble on about.

Basically here is the deal,
In order to be able to be allow to partake in the normalcy of life events as required to move about the USA or even make a purchase or go to a ball game, enter a govt or state facility, drive or open a bank account or just make an on line purchase,
~~you must first agree to the terms and conditions of going against every law out there and every suggested "privacy policy" in order to do so.
The DMV wants to scan all this information and they do expect monitary gain.

I am amazed at the fact that i am schooling those who are implementing this process although i shouldnt be, its rather obvious that many in gov/state jobs just simply "do thier jobs" , they are good listeners but there a definate extinct breed of "do'ers".  My Senator and Govener were not even aware that the policy scans these critical documents that can then be managed by data base adminstrators whom are likely the lowest bidder.

I dont really want to discuss this here with anyone, its not  my point to do so, its agian an FYI only and responses are fine but lets not bash this around,, its not inteded to get dirty.

Oh, btw, they also say
"we will not KNOWINGLY collect a childs personal information without the parents concent"

On a side note, homeland security has further delayed its actual implementation until early 2013.
This has a whole lot more to do with gettng bail out and special "social welfare" money from the fed for each state when they comply and a whole lot less to do with security.  In effect they are violating my personal homeland security.

any questoins about this call 304 772 3411 and i can at the least explain what i have done so far answer questions.

For more information concerning this, do a web search for "COPPA."

FWIW this kind of info has been sold for quite some time by certain government agencies.  The difference is now they have to be more revealing to you about the fact that they do it.

Apparently only Legal citizens are applicable anymore, looks like the Dept of Homeland Security did a back door 180 to allow illegals wiggle room
