Staggered tire combo??

I'd like to stay with 15" wheels on thr T-bird and go with a slightly staggered look.  I currently have 205/65's on 15x7" stock phone dial wheels around all four corners.  I like how they fill up the front wells but the rear needs wider tires.......maybe something like a 255/60??  Or how wide can I go in the rear w/o taking off the quads or rolling the lips.  Eventually I'll get new wheels but that's just not in the budget now...and I may end up going five lug down the road.

Does anyone have pics of tire combo's like this??

My Ranger has a staggered stance....but it's not exactly stock in the rear.

Sharp looking Ranger Dan! Sorry I can't help with the tire size. I've seen it done and it's a good look.

Sharp looking Ranger Dan!

Thanks.  It's a hoot to cruise around in and a blast to hammer on!

255's will fit on the 15X7 wheel, but they are much more stable on an 8 inch wheel.  The car sways less with the same tires on the wider rims.  A 235 would be fine on the 10 holes.
