The record is held by a V6 Chev Malibu. He has been given horsepower because of the record and his going fast everywhere. He can no longer run V/SA. The record will revert to a min. next year. I know my T-Bird will never go that fast, just want to run 5/10's under the index some day. That should be doable. By the way inline six Nova's run in the high 14 seconds back east, using a one barrel carb. I think I'll be the only Ford in the class. I know that at my local bracket track, I'm the only six running. My motto is "Nothing comes easy!"
