I must say -- I've been absent from these boards for a while as I was despondent concerning my Cougar's bodywork/repaint progress (it's finally almost finished). I had forgotten how nice a healthy discussion concerning tech was with the members here.

everything factors in, from the carb/throttle body to the tailpipes.. from the harmonic balancer, to the tread on the tire.. most people overlook nearly 50% of the things that will increase power, just to keep things they 'like..' i.e.- lers, cams, converters, rear gears, tire size, etc etc.. a lot of people don't realize how poor decisions in those areas will kill their potential in the long run
