help me spend $$$ Reply #16 – December 11, 2011, 10:02:32 PM I would most definatly invest some cash in the rear end of your car to get it to hook right. drag shocks possibly drag bags (thats what Im running) and air shocks taylored to side specific shrader valves so you can adjust the pressure per side.If that isnt enough get you a tube kmember. before i sat the motor in the bird I could lift the entire nose of the car off the stands with the front end 99% assembled. Which rear do you have now, and 4 or 5 lug? 5 lug is easy to do if you want to upgrade brakes or already have, and want a 8.8 axle. The 94-98 mustang should have 5 lug disk brakes, and have a swappable length rear axle. If you want to keep the drums, the 90-94 explorer used 10" 5lug drums, that I think are the correct type. I just haven't looked into the hub height though. If your going to go custom, its worthwhile to go c-clip eliminators or 9" ends. Quote Selected
