Map/Bap sensor location / help December 02, 2011, 11:31:44 PM The vacuum line coming off the MAP sensor on the firewall... where does it go? because i have a feeling this is what's causing my car to ride rough.... usually they go to intake manifold, but i don't see an open port. Quote Selected
Map/Bap sensor location / help Reply #1 – December 02, 2011, 11:33:51 PM Or do i have my map/bap confused and is it the MAP sensor on the firewall? If so, where does the vacuum line from the MAP go into? Because all the slots on my manifold are filled. Quote Selected

Map/Bap sensor location / help Reply #4 – December 03, 2011, 01:05:34 PM It has it setup to run off mass air, but at the moment i have it on speed density. I undid the mass air connector from my computer and unplugged my sensor. Once i get everything squared away i'll go back to mass air. I know that my map doesn't have the little tad cover to make it so you can't attach a vacuum line, so I'm pretty sure it needs to go into the manifold, but i don't know where. I found the most logical port but it has a line going to the FPR. Online i can't find the answer. I know you're a Guru at this stuff vinnie :) Quote Selected
Map/Bap sensor location / help Reply #5 – December 03, 2011, 01:14:19 PM ok, i think i've found my mistake. The port on the under side of the upper manifold is capped off still because i had it on mass air flow. Now that i changed the computer and left speed density on temporarily i need to run the vacuum line from the MAP to that port right? Quote Selected
