still looking for a hood Reply #4 – November 16, 2011, 09:07:46 PM i have 1 but shipping would be a pretty substantial amount of $$$.. Quote Selected
still looking for a hood Reply #5 – November 16, 2011, 09:17:06 PM Have you checked your local junk yards? I have several but like shadow said, shipping would be painful!I just wanted you to know that you didn't need to ask for a "sport" Hood. The production numbers for the sport coupe were the lowest out of all the t-birds, therefore making them few and far between. Quote Selected
still looking for a hood Reply #6 – November 17, 2011, 12:36:19 AM im willing to pay for shipping if it comes with the whole assembly like mounting brackets and everything if its in good shape and the color being black. yeah i had heard the sport was the fewest made and until i joined this site id never seen a tbird with all the option i have, the raven seat, climate control, power seats on both sides, and a 8.8 rear end. since i bought the car i put 373 gear ratio in it with full posi a rebuilt aod tranny ive had it painted and i just recently wrecked it before i went to iraq right now im dealing with a body shop who shaged up the body work. things like putting a turbo coupe grill with sport coupe light sets and of course the inner lights dont match then they left my fan shroud out and didnt put a safety latch on the car i just put a 351w with 9.5/1 compression a 512 lift cam 1970 351 heads ported and polished edelbrock 750cfm carb with eddelbrock performer intake on it. but as i was saying the reason i need the hood is because mine came up on the highway and now its all bent to hell. still looking for a hood Reply #7 – November 17, 2011, 01:07:37 AM i have a black 1 but it's not mint.. no rust/rot, but it has a couple dings and the edges are sprayed with primer, because the paint got chipped at 1 point and started a little surface rust.. Quote Selected
still looking for a hood Reply #8 – November 17, 2011, 10:24:37 PM i have one but your a little far and you more than likely to not want it. It has surface rust and is grey in color so it would have to be sanded and repainted. Quote Selected
