Looking for a fox Thunderbird or Cougar

I'm in college so I don't have a lot of cash, but I have some cash saved. I'm looking for any year as long as it's a 302 or 5.0, a decent driver without rust issues. I have up to 2000 to spend. So if there's anyone relatively close looking to sell let me know, thanks.

Blownbird.  That is a heck of a car for $3,800.  Good luck with the sale.

Yes I know that lol. I was really thinking about the 1980-82 models when I said 302, it just doesn't feel right to me to call the old ones a 5.0. :hick:

I'm going to look at an '86 Cougar tomorrow wish me luck!

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
