V8 rear spring(s)

I have one rear spring that isnt sitting right. I noticed the left side of my car is lower than the right. It was up on the lift for the tranny swap, saw this.





The lowest coil makes a much larger circle than the other side, no way to make it hug the conrol arm mounting point.

I've got a set from my '88 Sport, and they're not broken or cracked in any way. Just the black coating is peeling/chipping off.

I'll get you some pics if you'd like...

Mine had cushions between the spring and control arm.

Yeah, one of mine was shot when i put the rear end in, so i just took them both off for the time being.
