the tool i did'nt plan to buy

the most expensive pair of wire cutters i ever bought!
and never intended to buy!
but had no choice!

how much would you pay for these?

take a guess how much i paid for them!

$20.00????? I'm guessing you were in a desperate situation, and had to fork over big bucks. That's why I ALWAYS have those and the other basic tools when I leave the driveway. I haven't had to use them on the road with the sport, but just in case.

Free? or you bought that at a gas station and i don't dare to even think about them prices!
1987 Thunderbird Sport (soon to be GT edition) - In shop getting new paint job and interior work. (put on hold as of 11/2/2010, Resumed and going at it slowly its hard to be poor nowadays...)

There had to be a way to do whatever it was without spending large clams on those. Pocket knife? Razor blade? box cutter?................what the ? There HAD to be another way.

I always keep a pair of those generic pliers, a snap off razor, screwdriver, vice grips, and duct tape in the car.  Saved my ass multiple times.

Pretty sure I could rebuild a trans on the side of the road with just those tools if necessary.

$40?
My car is a gravity hybrid.  The gasoline engine gets me up the hills, and gravity gets me down.

i learned from a great man that there's always a way to make do with what you have on hand.....that great man's name was.....MacGyver !!!!!

I'm thinking it cost you the price of a tire it was stuck in or maybe a windshield?  Looks like something picked up on the road...
