i have a 4 cly t5 in mine I used, i think it was a 82 or 83 diesel ranger pilot bearing, it fits exactly in the crank and on the input shaft, a v8 one with the 4 cylinder t5 has to much play when I got my mustang with that setup it was hard to get in gear and had a bad vibration so I tore the tranny out to find it had a v8 t5 pilot bearing and check the input shaft bearing and all to lucky have it to be in good shape so I caught that at the right time.  I also heard one for a probe gt will work but I know the diesel ranger one does.

yeah I can't remember the size difference but there is a difference for sure because when i put my stuff back together before putting it in this bird I had to eye ball the clutch disc and all to get the line up right as my v8 line up tool wouldn't work even sanded on the small end for a good 30 mins with 100 grit paper still not close enough.
