I signed it. Don't expect this to make even a blip on the radar, though. Esspecially with people asking for Twin turbo V6's, or turbo V8's. Or how about the guys asking for the actual '87-88 TC to be brought back, not a new TC inspired by them?

If Ford made a straight six turbo coupe on the Mustang platform with IRS, then we'd be talking. I'd start saving my pennies as we speak.

yeah, but maybe someone will see the  possible market for us, and make something new that we'll like. i would never expect for the car to be brought back lol, expecialy with less than 50 signatures.

That would be cool, but I wouldn't count on it happening, much less with the Thunderbird name on it. If Ford came up with a straight six hot rod it'd likely be an Australian car.

The T-Bird name might come back, but the Turbo Coupe name is likely gone forever.

I could see that. Ford Australia actually makes a DOHC 4.0L VVT turbo I6 Falcon, with LSD IRS and a 5-spd that's more than large enough to build a T-bird on. If the GTO would ever take off, I could see Ford following suit. They would have to do what GM didn't, though, which is rebody the thing as its' nameplate deserves. That is the sinlge largest complaint about the GTO. It wasn't rebodied, just rebadged.

Imagine a 321hp/332tq TC.

Even if they only imported the powertrain and slapped it in a Mustang with a nicer body. (sounds familiar hm?) ;)

Never going back to fordsix as long as that josie chick still infests it.  :flame: Otherwise, it was a decent place.
