turbo parts Reply #1 – April 14, 2011, 03:19:22 PM Did you confirm that these parts have failed on your car, or are just shotgunning your overboost problem?I have a good BCS from my Turbocoupe. I could sell it to you for $20 shipped, but I would feel better if you knew for sure it was the problem. Quote Selected

turbo parts Reply #8 – April 16, 2011, 11:16:03 AM Have you tested so see if you can get the Waste gate to open? If not give it a shot. Use some compressed air sprayed into the Vac line of the actuator. Watch and see if that gets it to open. I would also regulate the air pressure to something near boost level it should take to get it to open. Wouldn't want to pop your actuator. If this doesn't make it open then you need to find out if the actuator is leaking the air pressure or is the internal waste gate rusted shut? Also have you disconnected the the actuator rod from the waste gate and checked the waste gate for free operation? Also the factory BCS is alright but you can build you own MBCS and plum that in so you can have control of the boost level. ThanksStuckman Quote Selected
