Baja style might just work with a cougar.

1987 Thunderbird Sport (soon to be GT edition) - In shop getting new paint job and interior work. (put on hold as of 11/2/2010, Resumed and going at it slowly its hard to be poor nowadays...)

it's either going to be cougar 4x4, or cougar gets crushed at this point, too many projects and dont really have time for the poor car anymore. so i figure why not consolidate two into one

so  what's your plan with the frame, and putting a cougar on a full frame........ I'm kinda interested in this in the re-engineering point

5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

I guess if you put it like that, I would rather its saved and live on.

it won't be anything near the one in the photo kitz, daminc, i'll let you know my plans as soon as i have them and i'll get plenty of photos too, probably going to start the project around the 1st of may.
