87/88 5.0L V8 AOD shifter gate - number of detents March 31, 2011, 01:02:40 PM He guys, I just bought an automatic shifter for my 88 thunderbird. I was looking for a V8 AOD shifter but I'm afraid I have a TurboCoupe A4LD shifter. The TC shifter has 7 detents whereas the AOD has only 6? Does anyone have a picture of the 87-88 V8 AOD floor shifter gate?Thanks! Quote Selected
